In a press release Mohammedan Sporting Club Kolkata informed all the members and public that due to the Government of West Bengal order they have to postponed the AGM and Election to comply with the Government’s order till further notice.
Official note from Mohammedan Sporting Club as follows:
Notice inviting attention of all the members of Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata that consequent to the notification of Government of West Bengal Vide order dated 28.06.2021 under Memo/notification 753/II-ISS/2M-22/2020 , the Club, in view and in compliance to the said notification had resolved to postponed the 105th Triennial Election as well as AGM which was announced to be held on 3rd July 2021 & 4th July 2021 respectively .
The Club had resolved that the date of 105th Triennial Election and Annual General Meeting shall be announced immediately after lifting of restriction as imposed under Disaster Management Act 2005 read with West Bengal Epidemic Disease, Covid 19 Regulation 2020. That the announcement of the date and details thereof , of 105th Triennial Election as well as Annual General Meeting shall be circulated through News Paper and shall be uploaded in the Website of the Club www.mohammedansportingindia .com
