Uday Krishna Peddiredi and his team VATA FOUNDATION get a special appraisal from Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar for great work towards saving uprooted banyan trees in Rajanna-Sircilla.
Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar on Monday hailed the successful translocation and saving of the banyan tree in Rajanna-Sircilla district and said the “entire process was possible due to blessings of Minister K.T. Rama Rao”.
Respected MP thanked the district collector, Uday Krishna Peddiredi, his team VATA FOUNDATION members, and green activist Prakash for their efforts. He recalled that the tree, which was in the agricultural land of farmers Burra Bhumaiah Goud and Burra Ramesh Goud was uprooted due to heavy rains and had started to dry up when Mr. Prakash took up the initiative to save it. Similar work has been done by Uday and the team in GOA as well in the last year as well and VATA Foundation is never short of energy for saving trees.
Appreciation is not enough if not backed by the ground support from the lawmakers and hence Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar also needs people to support for identifying the good deeds for the society.
We are proud of Uday and His Team VATA Foundation as Uday is also Editor for Nature and Wildlife for IBG NEWS.
