
BANGLADESHI WOMAN INADVERTENTLY ENTERED IN INDIAN TERRITORY, BSF HANDED OVER TO BGB AS GOODWILL GESTURE

On February 16, 2022, at about 1100 hrs, on duty Jawans of Border Out Post M S Pur, 70 BN BSF has apprehended a Bangladeshi woman from it’s area of responsibility. The apprehended Bangladeshi woman was identified as Mrs. Shelanur (age 40 years), W/o– Late Nazir Hussain, Village – Ghoshalda, PS – Shivganj, District – Chapainwabganj (Bangladesh).
Inadvertently crossed the International Boundary while working in the field, BSF investigated and handed over to BGB
The apprehended Bangladeshi woman revealed that she belongs to a poor family and earns her living by working as a farm laborer. Working as usual on 16 February, she did not know that she had entered the Indian territory and inadvertently crossed the International Boundary.
The apprehended Bangladeshi woman has been handed over to BGB as a goodwill gesture after holding a flag meeting.
The Public Relations Officer stated that our jawans keep a close eyes on people crossing the border in any way along with illegal infiltration along the International Boundary. BSF has handed over to the BGB, Bangladesh, as a goodwill gesture after investigating about the arrested Bangladeshi women.
