The Book Launch by Aruna Arya Gupta — “The Heart Has Its Answers”
Kolkata, 07th March, 2022: The official launch of Aruna Arya Gupta’s book, ‘The Heart Has Its Answers’ Edited by Rita Bhimani and published by Mandarin Publications Pvt. Ltd. took place at Kolkata in the presence of personalities of stature like Sudarshan Chakravarty. Pinky and Shaun Kenworthy and Shamlu Dudeja. The event was hosted by Ms. Ushoshi Sengupta in the presence of Nilufer Bose Archment (Consulate General of Turkey), Alexey M. Idamkin (Consulate General of Russia), and other eminent dignitaries.
The Heart Has its Answers, Aruna Arya Gupta’s collection of 46 poems is a very personal tribute to the human experience, and specifically to the complex and fascinating experiences in a woman’s life. The Princeton-based Indian-American critically acclaimed poet, singer, and the author has published several books, including the Amazon bestseller Repentance. Her forum, “From Every Pore” has been steered with the intent to act as a catalyst for literary and artistic expression.
Aruna Arya Gupta, the poet expresses, “Poems in this book are inspired by my own reflections of different facets of life and it draws on poetry’s eloquent wisdom to ponder the many joys and challenges of being a woman. The launch of the book was followed by a general discussion where the invitees interacted with the poet and other guests moderated by the host, explaining the intricacies of poems and how they resonate with love, longing, and a deeper understanding of humanity.
