He appealed to the more than 450 Homeopathy practitioners in the gathering to actively participate in the National ambition of a 5 Trillion dollar economy by promoting and patronizing Homoeopathic medicines Made in India. He assured that the quality standard of Indian Homeopathy medicines are at par with the imported European medicines.
He added India is regarded as the Home of Homoeopathy, with a 20% annual growth rate in the industry. With more than 3lakh Homeopaths, India would be a destination of Holistic Healthcare in near future.
Even IBG NEWS Chief Editor raised the question of why in West Bengal Health Service Homeopathic Doctors are facing discrepancies in terms of retirement age. When all other health service doctors and diploma medical attendants get 65 years of age as retirement age benefits from Central order, only Homeopathic Doctors are at 60 years of age. This is not only bad for equal opportunity employer image, but an insult to the noble physicians.
So we request all forums to join hands for the doctors of Homeopathy in the West Bengal Government service.
