COMMISSIONER OF RAILWAY SAFETY INSPECTS JOKA TO TARATALA STRETCH OF JOKA – ESPLANADE METRO PROJECT (PURPLE LINE)

Md.Latief Khan, Commissioner of Railway Safety, NF Circle inspected Joka to Taratala stretch of Joka-Esplanade Metro Project (Purple Line) today on 10.11.2022. He inspected Station Control Panel, Fire Pump, Fire Detection System, Points, Sub-stations, Platforms, Tracks, Escalators, Lifts & different passenger amenities at Joka, Sakher Bazaar, Behala Bazar, and Taratala stations.
He undertook a trolley inspection from Joka station to Taratala station. Mr. Khan also inaugurated the Administrative Office and an Automatic Train Washing Plant at Metro Car Depot in Joka and planted a sapling there. He also inspected the Metro viaduct on Diamond Harbour Road.
In his presence Speed Trial on Taratala to Jóia stretch of this Corridor was also conducted.
