ICAI honours Steller CAs at CA 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony
The Institute of Chartered Accountants India (ICAI) organised CA 40 under 40 Awards in a grand ceremony at the Hyatt Regency, Delhi on 16th March, 2023.
These awards recognized and rewarded the contributions of young and dynamic Chartered Accountants under the age of 40 who have visibly and gradually and constantly driven economic change across the industry and the nation, emerging as leaders in their respective fields.
The award ceremony was graced by the awardees and members of the governing Council of ICAI and Chief Guest, Mr. Subhash Chandra Grag, Former Finance Secretary, Government of India.
Mr. Garg, while giving away the awards, congratulated the awardees on their exemplary performance and also thanked the ICAI for recognizing the achievers. Mr. Garg mentioned that Chartered accountancy profession enjoys a very high reputation in the eyes of the stakeholders.
While addressing the gathering, CA. Aniket S. Talati, President and CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Vice President, ICAI congratulated the Committee for doing a yeomen service in the cause of Chartered Accountants. They made a particular mention of how a recognition at the initial stage of the career motivates and encourage them to achieve the goals and always aim high to reach on top.
The awards were given to 40 stellar Chartered accountants. The winners have been selected by an eminent hurry comprising of CA. Akhil Gupta, VC, Bharti Enterprises, CA. Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder & Group CEO, Makemy Trip, CA. Motilal Oswal, MD & CEO, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, CA. Ramesh D. Chandak, Former MD & CEO, KEC International, CA. Ritesh Tiwari, Executive Director- Finance, HUL & Chief Financial Officer, South Asia and Shri K. V. Chowdary, Former Central Vigilance Commissioner & Director, RIL at a jury meet held on 28th February, 2023.
The awards ceremony was preceded by a panel discussion on Tax Reforms driving the India Growth Story” featuring eminent speakers as Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai, Chairperson, Rothschild, CA Nihar N. Jambusaria, Past President, ICAI, CA. Sanjay Aneja, CFO, Dharampal Satyapal Ltd. and CA. Chandan Agarwal, Head Taxation. Dabur India.
