TRAIN MOVEMENTS WERE AFFECTED AT SONARPUR DUE TO OVERHEAD POWER DISTURBANCE ON DOWN LINE
Kolkata, July 01, 2023:
Train services in Sealdah (South) – Sonarpur section were affected this afternoon due to an overhead power disturbance that appeared over the Down line at Sonarpur at about 17:10 hrs. The power supply system in the Down line was rectified at 18:29 hrs. Up train movements were however unaffected. Normal train movements through all the lines at Sonarpur were restored after 18:29 hrs.
As a sequel to this about 12 EMU locals of the Sealdah South section had to be cancelled.
