ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED AN AWARENESS LECTURE ON THE PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE IN ST. JOHN SCHOOL AT NUNGBA VILLAGE, MANIPUR
Srikona Battalion of Headquarter Agartala Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) with an aim to educate the children and teachers conducted a detailed lecture on the prevention of child abuse at St John School of Nungba Village, District Noney, Manipur. The lecture was meant to make children and teachers aware of what child abuse is and how it can be prevented.
The lecture also covered the alarming rate at which Child Abuse is growing and how it has far-reaching consequences hampering the positive growth of a child from a tender age.
During the lecture, it was also explained how parents and teachers play a crucial role in curbing the rise of Child Abuse by way of constant communication with children and students about the sanctity of body parts and the various forms of Child Abuse.
