INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS CONDUCTED AT RANGAPARA COLLEGE
77th Independence Day was celebrated jointly by the Indian Army, Local Administration of Sonitpur District, Assam Police, Rangapara College & local population of Missamari, Rangapara & Balipara, Assam on 15 August 2023. The event was inaugurated by the local military commander of the Indian Army. It was attended by more than 1200 personnel including Army soldiers, ADM Sonitpur, 288 x lady commando recruits of Assam Police, and staff & students of Rangapara College.
The event included a display of modern war-fighting weapons & equipment of the Indian Army along with an enchanting & mesmerising ‘Musical & Cultural Fusion Saga’ jointly organized by the Indian Army & Rangapara College. Indian Army also motivated the youth by guiding them about various avenues for joining Indian Armed Forces as Officers & as Agniveers.
