Apu’s Kitchen: North Kolkata’s favourite Cloud Kitchen now is a Dine-In
Located near Phoolbagan, Beleghata, Apu’s Kitchen is a brand that began as a small cloud kitchen in the North-Eastern part of the city, grew steadily in popularity and expanded their menu, and over time has become a reliable name in the local culinary scene. Started by Mr. Kamal Saha, the owner of Apu’s Kitchen, their journey began thirteen years ago, but is now a local favorite. After the burgeoning response, continual appreciation, Apu’s Kitchen has recently opened its dine-in service to cater to the growing demands of the people who want to sit down for a meal and have a good time.
The primary attraction of Apu’s Kitchen is its three separate sections for the customers. First and the most popular is the outer section that is specifically meant for takeaways, and offers mouthwatering rolls, tandoori food, Chinese and other such delicacies. The second is Apu’s Dine-in segment, which is spread over 800 sq ft and is a 44-seater. The third is the section called Apu’s Galaxy which is a smaller dine-in space of about 200 sq ft, with 14 seats, leaving the customer with the choice to either sit down for a meal or takeaway.

We wanted to give our customers the best food with good ingredients that would bring them back over and over, and over the years, we have been able to establish a strong connection with our customers. We are proud and grateful to still be here and expanding post-covid, progressing towards our dream to grow sustainably. Apu’s Kitchen now has dine-in facilities, serving Indian and Chinese cuisine under one roof with a menu that boasts of having honest, bold flavors, with generous portions. Our food philosophy is to spread the taste and experience far and wide. Our vision is to offer an enhanced dining experience at a reasonable price. Apu’s Kitchen has stayed true to its original menu. The brand specializes in various kinds of food, like Indo-Chinese, Mughlai, North Indian and Tandoori delicacies. Some of the signature dishes include Apu’s Special Mutton and Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Nawabi Biryani, Roasted Chicken, Reshmi Kebab, Mixed Rice Noodles, Chelo Kebab, Lemon Chilli Fish, Chicken Rezala, Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Kung Pao Chicken, Crispy Fried Chicken, Schezwan Fish, Drums of Heaven, etc. Also, their rolls are very popular with locals.
The pricing at the dine-in sector has been kept pocket-friendly in sync with the locale and clientele. The cost for two is INR 600 (plus tax) and the operational timing is between 12:30 pm and 11 pm. In addition to the dine-in experience at the outlet, customers can access Apu’s Kitchen for direct orders via phone, and also order through Zomato and Swiggy.
