During the trial run in ATO mode, the rake travelled with a maximum speed of 74 km/hr. The trial started at 9.00 hrs. and continued till 11.00 hrs today. Two round-trip trial runs were conducted successfully.

East-West Metro Corridor is equipped with a Communication Based Train Control System (CBCTC). This system consists of Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), and Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) facilities.

Automatic Train Operation (ATO) mode testing was done by checking the automatic braking, motoring, coasting, and stopping of the train within the specified speed profile.
