AWARENESS RALLY ON PULSE POLIO IMMUNIZATION ORGANIZED BY HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE DEPARTMENT, WORKSHOP HOSPITAL KANCHRAPARA

Workshop Hospital Kanchrapara organized the Pulse Polio Immunization programme under the aegis Mission Indradhanush today (03.03.2024) with the band team of Bharat Scouts & Guides Kanchrapara.
In this regard, on 2nd March, the Health and Family Welfare Department of Workshop Hospital, Kanchrapara organized a comprehensive rally in collaboration with Bharat Scouts and Guides, Eastern Railway across all railway colonies to raise awareness about the Pulse Polio Immunization scheduled for today (03.03.2024).
The rally commenced from the Outpatient Department ( OPD) of Workshop Hospital, Kanchrapara, and traversed through the railway colonies in the vicinity. Led by the Chief Medical Superintendent and Dr. A. Ghosh of Kanchrapara Hospital, the event saw the enthusiastic participation of Additional Chief Medical Superintendent (Admin) Dr. Saswati Das, Dr. A. Mukherjee, Additional Divisional Medical Officer – Health and Family Welfare, as well as other esteemed senior doctors and medical staff.
A highlight of the rally was the spirited involvement of the Band team from Bharat Scouts and Guides, Eastern Railway, which added vibrancy and energy to the event, capturing the attention of bystanders and amplifying the message of polio immunization.
Through collaborative efforts and community engagement, initiatives such as this rally play a pivotal role in raising awareness and ensuring widespread participation in immunization drives, thereby contributing to the overarching goal of a healthier, polio-free society.
