HOLI SPECIAL TRAINS
Recognizing the significant rise in travel demand during the upcoming Holi festival, the Sealdah Division is pleased to announce the operation of special trains connecting various destinations. This initiative aims to provide passengers with convenient and comfortable transportation options during the festive season.
Holi, the vibrant festival of colors, is a time for joyous celebrations and reuniting with loved ones. However, it often leads to challenges in securing train tickets due to the surge in passenger traffic.
To address this concern and ensure hassle-free travel, Eastern Railway’s Sealdah Division will operate special trains between:
• Sealdah & Gorakhpur
• Sealdah & Gaya
• Sealdah & Puri
• Kolkata & Jaynagar
• Sealdah & Jagi Road via New Jalpaiguri and Guwahati
These special trains will offer additional capacity and flexibility to accommodate the increased passenger volume during Holi.

These special trains will offer a range of accommodation options, including General Coach, Sleeper Coach, and Air-conditioned Coach. By introducing these trains, the Sealdah Division anticipates generating an additional 6237 berths, significantly alleviating the pressure on regular train services during Holi.
