10TH ZONAL PNM MEETING BEING HELD IN METRO RAILWAY
Kolkata, 18th July,2024:
The 10th Zonal Permanent Negotiating Machinery (PNM) meeting of Metro Railway is being held at Metro Rail Bhavan on 18.07.2024 and 19.07.2024.Today was the first day of this Meeting.
Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, along with other Principal Heads of Departments and Senior Officers of Metro Railway, Shri Sujit Ghosh, General Secretary and Shri Sisir Chandra Mazumdar, Zonal Secretary and other representatives of Metro Railway Men’s Union were present in the meeting.
Inaugurating the meeting, Shri Reddy in his speech congratulated all Metro employees for their devotion and achievements in different fields of work.He also urged all to come forward with more dedication to provide improved services to the commuters.
During the discussion, various problems and their solutions, new ideas, and suggestions were exchanged with the representatives of the Union. The discussion with the representatives of the Union was held in an amicable and warm environment.
The Union representatives thanked the General Manager for his initiative in undertaking welfare measures for the staff and also requested to solve the pending demands as early as possible.
