Bengali Startup Trio Launches Affordable Healthcare App : CarePlix
CarePlix, the smartphone-based vitals monitoring app that gained global recognition during the COVID-19 pandemic for its oximetry functions, has released its latest version on the Play Store and App Store. The app, which saw over 3 million downloads in just three months during the pandemic, aims to provide India’s most affordable healthcare solutions.
Founded by three young entrepreneurs from Kolkata, West Bengal— Abhisek Sengupta, Monosij Sengupta, and Subhabrata Paul — CarePlix is part of a growing wave of innovative startups emerging from Bengal. These startups are creating groundbreaking solutions and products, making significant contributions to various industries.
In addition to its vitals monitoring feature, CarePlix now offers various membership plans designed to give users access to numerous features and benefits. Among these are discounts of up to 50% on diagnostic bookings, potentially saving users thousands of rupees. The app also includes free teleconsultations with CarePlix in-house doctors for initial triage. Additionally, users can earn Care Coins worth thousands of rupees, which can be redeemed for further discounts.
