*EASTERN RAILWAY ‘S RPF ACHIEVES NOTEWORTHY SUCCESS IN MULTIPLE OPERATIONS ON. 10TH AUGUST 2024* Kolkata,
August 11, 2024In a commendable display of vigilance and dedication, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Eastern Railway, covering the Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol, and Malda Divisions, achieved significant success across several operations on 10th August 2024.
These are as follows -*Operation *Samay Palan** On 10.08.2024, under “Operation Samay Palan”, RPF officials of Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol & Malda Division of Eastern Railway have arrested & prosecuted *07* persons under the provision of Railway Act.*Operation *Mahila Suraksha** On the same day, under “Operation Mahila Suraksha”, RPF officials of Howrah, Sealdah, Malda & Asansol Division of Eastern Railway have arrested & prosecuted *37* persons under the provision of Railway Act.*Operation *Yatri Suraksha** On 10th August 2024, under “Operation Yatri Suraksha”, RPF officials of Malda Division of Eastern Railway have arrested *04* Theft of Passengers Belonging (TOPB) criminals at Bhagalpur Railway Station with recovery of 04 stolen mobiles phone valued *Rs. 40,000/-* and handed over to concerned GRPS and dealt under specific section of BNS. *Operation Amanat* On 10.08.2024, under “Operation Amanat”, RPF officials of Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol & Malda Division of Eastern Railway have recovered 05 Mobile Phones, 01 Electrical Kettle, 01 Blazer and 02 Bags containing Medical Documents, Cloths etc. Total valued *Rs.91,440/-* from different Trains/Railway Premises at Howrah, Bandel, Dankuni, Sheoraphuli, Kolkata, Naihati, Jasidih & Malda Railway Station and handed over to its rightful owners after due verification & documentation.. *Operation Nanhe Fariste** On 10.08.2024, under “Operation Nanhe Fariste”, RPF officials of Howrah Division of Eastern Railway have rescued *04* minors Boys from Howrah Railway Station and handed over to concerned Child Line for next course of action. Wherein 03 rescued minor boys were moving aimlessly at Howrah Railway station & 01 rescued minor was fled away from home due to scolded by parents.*Operation Sewa* On 10.08.2024, under “Operation Sewa”, RPF officials of Howrah, Division of Eastern Railway have rescued *01* male sick person, rendered assistance, arranged & shifted him to nearest Govt. Hospital for treatment. The rescued person was feeling unwell in a train at Rampurhat Railway Station. *Operation Satark* On 10.08.2024, under “Operation Satark”, RPF officials of Howrah, Asansol & Malda Division of Eastern Railway have recovered 72 bottle foreign liquors valued *Rs.36,700/-* from Burdawan, Madhupur & Bhagalpur Railway Station as unclaimed. Wherein 39 bottle liquors handed over to concern Excise Department for further course of action & 33 bottles liquors kept at RPF Post for further legal action. *Operation Uplabdh* On 10.08.2024, under “Operation Uplabdh”, RPF officials of Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway have arrested *01* tout from his shop with recovery of 15 past E- Ticket valued Rs. 26,722.20/-.The arrested person has been dealt under specific section of Railway Act by concerned RPF Post.Regards
