VETERANS SWABHIMAN RALLY 2025 TO BE HELD AT NARANGI MILITARY STATION. GUWAHATI

The Headquarters 51 Sub Area proudly announces the upcoming Veterans Swabhiman Rally 2025 to be held at Narangi Military Station, Guwahati, Assam, on 12 October 2025. The event aims to honour the selfless service, valour, and immense sacrifices of veterans, while reaffirming the nation’s solidarity with Veer Naris and families of fallen heroes.
The rally will be graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, as the Chief Guest. Shri Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and General Administration, Assam, along with senior Armed Forces officers, respected veterans, and government representatives, will also attend the event.

The Veterans Swabhiman Rally is expected to witness participation of over 2,500 veterans from Assam and neighbouring states, making it one of the largest veteran gatherings in the region. The event will feature various welfare initiatives, including help desks and informative stalls aimed at addressing veterans’ concerns and facilitating their access to Central and State Government welfare schemes.
As part of the welfare outreach, special financial aid will be extended to Veer Naris and needy veterans. Additionally, motorised wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and mechanical medical beds will be distributed to physically handicapped veterans. Dedicated stalls for medical support, financial counselling, pension advisory, and skill development will also be established to assist the veteran community.
The Veterans Swabhiman Rally 2025 underscores the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to the welfare, dignity, and empowerment of its veterans — the true custodians of India’s proud legacy of service and sacrifice. The event will celebrate their enduring spirit and reinforce the bond between the Armed Forces and the veteran fraternity.
