ICG–ASSAM RIFLES JOINT BIKE RALLY FLAGGED OFF ON 27 JAN 26
In run up to 50th raising day of Indian Coast Guard, A Indian Coast Guard–Assam Rifles Joint Bike Rally was flagged off on 27 Jan 26, marking the commencement of a unique outreach expedition titled “Samudra se Parvat Tak.” From Haldia, West Bengal to Pangsau Pass, Arunachal Pradesh.
The rally, comprising 20 riders, will be conducted over a period of 15 days, traversing diverse terrain from the coastal region to the mountainous and border areas of the North East covering a total distance of 2000 KMs. The expedition aims to promote national integration, inter-force camaraderie, and meaningful engagement with local communities, youth, and students along the route.
The team will interact with district administrations, educational institutions, NCC cadets, and local populace, spreading awareness about nation-building, unity and the role of uniformed services in safeguarding the country.
The joint conduct of the rally reflects the strong spirit of cooperation and coordination between the Indian Coast Guard and Assam Rifles, reinforcing the message of “One Nation, One Team.”
The rally symbolizes determination, discipline, and service, carrying the message of unity from the sea to the mountains, and strengthening the bond between the armed forces and the citizens they serve.
