Throughout his illustrious career, he has released more than thirty ghazal albums and collaborated with some of the most respected names in Indian music. His work with legendary singer Asha Bhosle on albums such as Aabshar-e-Ghazal remains highly regarded among ghazal enthusiasts. Albums including Gulfam, Kaash, Halka Nasha, and Jashn have also become milestones in contemporary ghazal music.

In addition to ghazals, Hariharan has explored film music, independent albums, fusion projects, and popular music, building a diverse repertoire that has earned him admirers across generations.
