FIFA World Cup 2026™ Sparks Global Music Craze as FIFA Sound Tops Charts Worldwide

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is not only electrifying fans on the pitch but also setting the global music scene ablaze, as FIFA Sound fuels an unprecedented worldwide cultural movement.

Within just eight days of tournament action, the Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album has crossed an impressive 336 million streams, signaling its massive global appeal. The hit track Dai Dai by Shakira and Burna Boy has surged to No. 10 on Spotify’s Top 50 Global Tracks, reflecting its widespread popularity.

Other standout tracks from the album are also dominating global discovery charts. Dai Dai, DNA—featuring Andrea Bocelli, David Guetta, Megan Thee Stallion, and EJAE—and Game Time by Future and Tyla are all ranked among the Top 20 on Shazam’s Global Top 200 this week. Notably, Game Time has emerged as the fourth most viral track worldwide on Shazam.

The album itself debuted strongly, reaching No. 3 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global Chart between June 5 and 7. On video platforms, the momentum continues with 364 million views on YouTube across 19 music videos and visualisers. Dai Dai and Champions by IShowSpeed currently hold the top two spots on YouTube’s Global Top 100 Music Videos chart.

Beyond streaming success, FIFA Sound has become a cornerstone of the tournament’s entertainment experience. The opening ceremonies showcased an extraordinary lineup of global artists, collectively commanding a social media following of over one billion fans worldwide.

Digital engagement has also been remarkable. Content from the opening ceremonies shared across FIFA World Cup social channels has generated 463 million views across 137 posts, bringing fans closer to the spectacle through exclusive and behind-the-scenes moments.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted the cultural impact, stating that fans across the globe are not just watching football but actively celebrating it through music and dance. He emphasized that the success of FIFA Sound underscores the tournament’s evolution into a global celebration of sport, music, and culture.

As the FIFA World Cup 2026™ progresses, it is clear that its influence extends far beyond football—uniting fans worldwide in a shared rhythm of passion, entertainment, and global connectivity.
