Aero India 2027 to Take Off in Bengaluru from February 8–12
BENGALURU, September 2, 2026: India’s premier aerospace and defence showcase, Aero India, is set to return with its 16th edition at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru from February 8 to 12, 2027.
Organised by the Department of Defence Production under the Ministry of Defence, Aero India 2027 is expected to bring together major international and Indian aerospace and defence companies, policymakers, armed forces personnel, technology specialists, innovators and industry leaders.
The biennial event has developed into an important global platform for India’s aerospace and defence sector, showcasing the country’s expanding manufacturing capabilities, indigenous technologies and emerging innovations. It is also expected to provide opportunities for international business partnerships, technology cooperation and strategic discussions.
Five Days of Exhibitions, Business Engagements and Air Displays
Aero India 2027 will feature a large-scale exhibition alongside business-to-business and government-to-industry engagements. Technology demonstrations and opportunities for collaboration are expected to form a key part of the event.
Visitors will also be able to witness aerial displays featuring the Indian Air Force and international flying teams, highlighting advanced aircraft and aviation capabilities.
Online Registration Opens September 3
A dedicated online portal has been created to streamline participation in the event. Exhibitors can begin online registration and book exhibition space from September 3, 2026, through the official Aero India website.
The web-based platform is intended to provide services and information for both exhibitors and visitors ahead of the five-day exhibition.
Focus on Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Global Partnerships
Aero India 2027 is expected to strengthen India’s push towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat by creating greater opportunities for domestic defence manufacturers, including MSMEs and start-ups.
The event is also likely to serve as a meeting ground for potential investments, exports, technology partnerships and deeper integration of Indian companies into the global aerospace and defence supply chain.
With participation from major international players alongside India’s growing defence-industrial ecosystem, Aero India 2027 is poised to reinforce Bengaluru’s position as a key destination for global aerospace and defence engagement.
