VIJAY DIWAS CELEBRATIONS AT HEADQUARTERS TRAINING COMMAND, INDIAN AIR FORCE

Headquarters Training Command (IAF), Bengaluru observed 'Vijay Diwas' on 16 December 2025 to commemorate India's historic victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. On this occasion, a solemn 'Wreath-Laying' ceremony was organised at the TC War Memorial to honour the valiant warriors of the Indian Armed Forces, whose supreme sacrifice protected India's sovereignty and paved the way for creation of Bangladesh. Their valour shall forever remain a symbol of national pride and a profound source of inspiration.
Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command along with officers of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and senior functionaries of Training Command paid their tributes to the martyrs. Veterans from the Indian Army, Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force were also present on the occasion. The ceremony featured a Guard of Honour (Salami Shastra) followed by 'Shok Shastra' with the buglers playing the tune of 'Last Post'. The ceremony concluded after observing a two-minute silence in the memory of the martyrs.
