‘Tecno Mobile presents Mirchi Movie Nights’ hosted the special screening of the period drama ‘ Thugs of Hindostan’
Kolkata, 10 November 2018: ‘Tecno Mobile presents Mirchi Movie Nights’ held an exclusive screening of the movie ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, a period drama set against the backdrop of British era in India. The movie evening hosted for the esteemed listeners of the radio channel was a star -studded affair with the glitz and glam added by the presence of the celebrities. The listeners got the privilege to watch the movie along with celebrities Anjana Basu, Anindya Chatterjee,Srijit Mukherjee, Ambareesh Bhattacharya.
Hosted and entertained by the talented duo of RJ Agni and RJ Somak, the Mirchi Movie Nights gave the listeners a chance to enjoy the movie screening and some fun filled activities too. Over the years listeners have been treated to the grand screenings across different markets.

The movie Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, that tell a story about a thug named Ameer Ali and his gang, whose nefarious ways posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India between 1790 and 1805. The Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie also features Katrina Kaif and Sana Fatima Shaikh.
