Austria’s Interior Ministry confirmed that the government of Austria has drawn up a draft law to take over the ownership of the Adolf Hitler’s birth place where he born.
Owner Gerlinde Pommer had refused to sell the empty building in the town of Braunau am Inn on the German border on Tuesday. Earlier the government has sought possession request, so it can take measures to lessen its draw as a shrine for admirers of the Nazi dictator.

Government is in the majority in the parliament and it can rely on the support of most opposition parties to make it into a law.
