132ND EDITION OF DURAND CUP, KOKRAJHAR ON 22ND JULY 2023
132nd edition of the oldest football tournament in Asia and for the first time in the history of the tournament, the Durand Cup will be organised at ‘Kokrajhar’. The Indian Army along with the support of the spirited leadership of Bodoland Territorial Council will host this elite tournament at Sports Authority of India stadium Kokrajhar.
For Kokrajhar Edition 132nd Durand Cup, the Trophy Tour program is scheduled on 22nd July 2023, where the unique Trophy of Durand Cup will be unveiled at Bodofa Auditorium to the football enthusiasts populace at Kokrajhar. Thereafter, on the same day, Trophy will be on display for the public at Kokrajhar District Sports Association Stadium and Bodoland Territorial Council Secretariat.
This august moment will be graced by All India Football Federation president Shri Kalyan Chaubey, Chief Executive member of Bodoland Territorial Council, Shri Pramod Boro, Mrs. Nandita Gariosa, Hon’ble minister for Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Assam, Major General Dinesh Hooda, VSM, Chief of Staff, Gajraj Corps, Major General S Murugesan, General Officer Commanding, Red Horns Division and Major General Mahendroo, Vice Chairman Durand Organising Committee.
Media persons are cordially invited to participate in the unveiling of the trophy on 22nd July 2023 at Bodofa Auditorium and the display of the Trophy at Kokrajhar district sports Association Ground and Bodoland Territorial council secretariat from 0930 AM onwards.
