Bengal Govt sets up Rajbongshi Development Board
The Bengal Government has decided to set up the Rajbongshi Development Board. This was announced by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Cooch Behar.
The board is going to work for the well-being of the Rajbongshi people; this is the latest board to be set up by the State Government for the ethnic communities of north Bengal.
On Tuesday, she was felicitated by Kamtapur People’s Party at a function in Raas Mela Math, Cooch Behar. Speaking on the occasion, she said, “We respect all languages and cultures. We must preserve our own language and culture.”
The CM added: “We respect and love all religions. We will not tolerate divisive politics. We will not tolerate politics of riots by BJP.”
রাজবংশী উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ গঠন করবে রাজ্য সরকার
রাজবংশী উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ গঠন করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিল রাজ্য সরকার। সোমবার কোচবিহারে ঘোষণা করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এই উন্নয়ন পর্ষদে রাজ পরিবারের সদস্যদের নেওয়া হবে।
উত্তরবঙ্গের রাজবংশী জনগোষ্ঠীর মানুষদের উন্নয়নের জন্য কাজ করবে এই পর্ষদ। ইতিমধ্যেই উত্তরবঙ্গে বিভিন্ন জনগোষ্ঠীর জন্য অনেকগুলি উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ গঠন করেছে রাজ্য সরকার।
মঙ্গলবার কামতাপুর পিপলস পার্টির একটি অনুষ্ঠানে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, সব ভাষাই আমার ভালো লাগে, নিজের ভাষা, সংস্কৃতিকে মর্যাদা দেওয়া উচিত।
তিনি আরও বলেন, “আমি সব ধর্মকে ভালোবাসি, সম্মান করি, বিভেদের রাজনীতি বরদাস্ত করব না। বিজেপির দাঙ্গার রাজনীতি আমরা মেনে নেব না।”
