Aesthetica founded by Sanchita Ghosh recently organized a fair ‘Looms, Weaves & More’ featuring the traditional elegance of Indian Weaves with handlooms and handicrafts from across India.Acclaimed actor Koneenica Bandopadhyay inaugurated the exhibition and during the fair many celebrated faces were present including elocutionist Bratai Bandopadhyay. Speaking about the fair post the pandemic induced lockdown, Sanchita Ghosh said, ” This is a platform for all consummate artisans to reach their buyers directly, the pandemic has really brought hardships to these artisans and weavers and we are proud to provide a platform, one of the firsts after lockdown.”
The entire set up was in a carnival style and 40 participants from across India and abroad made this a gala show.
