REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO TRAFFIC & POWER BLOCK OVER HOWRAH DIVISION
Kolkata, January 22, 2024:
Periodic maintenance of Over Head Equipment (OHE) is crucial to ensure the safe & efficient operation of the railway system. Regular and systematic maintenance of this component helps prevent disruption and delays, ensuring trains run on schedule and extending the lifespan of railway infrastructure, contributing to the overall safety & reliability of train operation. Keeping in mind the need for maintenance, 2 days of traffic & power block has been planned at Shaktigarh in Howrah-Barddhaman) Chord line & Mainline) over Howrah Division on 24.01.2024 & 25.1.2024 (Wednesday & Thursday). Consequently, the train regulations will be as follows:
CANCELLATION (ON 24.01.2024 & 25.1.2024):
From Barddhaman: 36812, 37812
From Howrah: 36811, 37811
DIVERSION OF MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS:
13148 Bamanhat – Sealdah Uttar Banga Express (arrival Malda Town at 22:20 hrs. on 24.1.2024 & 25.1.2024) and 13154 Malda Town – Sealdah Gour Express (leaving Malda at 21:30 hrs. on 24.1.2024 & 25.1.2024) will be diverted via New Farakka-Azimganj-Katwa with stoppages at New Farakka, Jangipur Road, Azimganj & Katwa.
CONTROLLING OF MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS:
12308 Jodhpur – Howrah Express, (journey commencing on 24.1.2024 & 25.1.2024), 12360 Patna – Kolkata Garibrath Express (journey commencing on 25.1.2024), 22214 Patna – Shalimar Duronto Express (journey commencing on 24.1.2024) will be controlled by 45 minutes, 25 minutes & 25 minutes (at Asansol division) respectively.
12344 Haldibari – Sealdah Darjeeling Mail (journey commencing on 24.1.2024 & 25.1.2024) & 12346 Guwahati – Howrah Saraighat Express (journey commencing on 24.1.2024 & 25.1.2024) will be controlled by 25 minutes & 10 minutes enroute.
The inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.
RESCHEDULING OF SEALDAH – AJMER EXPRESS
Kolkata, January 22, 2024
Due to the late running of corresponding Down link trains, 12987 Sealdah – Ajmer Express will leave Sealdah at 00:05 hrs. (midnight) on 23.01.2024 instead of its scheduled departure time at 22:55 hrs. on 22.01.2024.
The inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.
