EASTERN RAILWAY’S EXECUTIVE HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP AT BELVEDERE PARK, KOLKATA

Eastern Railway not only puts ultimate stress on quality & efficiency of work towards smooth train operation for fullest customer satisfaction but at the same time also looks after health & wellbeing of employees, officers & their family members. Eastern Railway maintains a well-organized healthcare system so that the employees & officers can maintain a quality life, which in turn helps the Eastern Railway workforce to deliver their best possible efforts for efficient train operations.
The medical department of Eastern Railway has a well-structured healthcare system with the divisional hospitals and tertiary care system at B R Singh Hospital and also organizes health camps from time to time at different places over Eastern Railway to bring health care & checkup facility at the door steps of their employees, officers & their family members.
As a part of this endeavour of maintaining an extended healthcare facility, Eastern Railway’s Medical Department has organized an Executive Health Checkup programme at Belvedere Park Officers Club today (10.2.2024). Altogether, 100 officers & their family members attended this health checkup camp. The comprehensive health checkup package includes a bone mineral density checkup, blood test including lipid profile & liver function test, complete hemogram & blood sugar, eye testing, heart condition checkup with ECG & follow through treatment, etc. Nutritionists have also provided in the camp for checking the nutritional level & providing guidance for food habits to be maintained for a healthy lifestyle. Eastern Railway’s Health Department will continue organising such health checkup camps in different areas on a priority basis.
