Kolkata, June 6, 2026: A national seminar on “Peace, Harmony, and Development” was held at the Rabindranath Tagore Auditorium in Kolkata, where the West Bengal branch of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti was formally inaugurated by West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh.

The seminar was addressed by Jain Acharya Lokesh, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, and Swami Govinddev Giri, Treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, along with religious and community leaders including Sardar Satnam Singh Ahluwalia and Dr. Buddha Priya Bhikshu.

Speaking at the event, Minister Dilip Ghosh said the newly launched West Bengal branch would work towards promoting non-violence, peace, social harmony, and inclusive development across the state.
