Bengaluru, September 12, 2026: The Training Command Commanders’ Conference 2026 concluded at Headquarters Training Command (HQTC), Indian Air Force, Bengaluru, following a three-day conference held from September 10 to 12, 2026.

The conference was presided over by Air Marshal S Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Training Command, Indian Air Force. Commanders of all training establishments under Training Command, along with senior functionaries from Headquarters Training Command, participated in the annual conference.

The conference focused on aligning the various training verticals of the Indian Air Force with broader strategic objectives, with particular emphasis on strengthening operational capabilities in an increasingly complex and evolving security environment.

Focus on future-ready training

During the conference, senior branch heads from Headquarters Training Command presented comprehensive reviews of their respective domains. Among the key subjects discussed were the future acquisition plan of the IAF and policy updates concerning the induction of Agniveervayus.

The sessions provided an opportunity for commanders and senior functionaries to examine emerging requirements and consider how training structures and policies can evolve in line with the changing operational environment.
